 The TACTuaL MUSEUm

The Tactual Museum is one of only four such museums for the blind in the world. It allows blind people of all ages to touch and appreciate replicas of major artworks as well as  architectural models of famous buildings and cultural objects.

The museum is visited by blind as well as sighted people and is a frequent destination for school children, who are encouraged to close their eyes and perceive the world as a blind person would.

The entrance fees come close to making the Tactual Museum operationally self-sustaining, but all new objects and replacements of damaged objects come from donations.
